update

Well, I have found my old buddy from New York, Bob Brown, thanx to his sister Julie for letting me know that he is in South Carolina. Looks like he lives real close to our 1st cousins Roy and Laverne Neal and Sonny Copeland near Tacoa,Ga. The add in the Jamestown Post-Journal is what how the word was spread. This brings the total to 4 old friends I have talked to. I hope to take a cruise on the Harley up there soon.

O.K. I guess you all know I have shaved the beard. Sarah told me that I looked "mad at the world" when we were playing the Azalea Fest. so, being concerned about my image it had to go.

Now the good news! Kristin and Gabe are coming home! Sheila could not remember playing basketball. You know with age everything slips. Next week is the trip to LA. not Lower Alabama.

O.K.

My Girls

I want everyone to know just how perfect my beautiful girls are. My House has always been full of laughter. I have never had to worry about what they were doing when their mother or I were not around. I do realize are things they have done I do not approve of, however they never made me worry. I am a BLESSED man. I really enjoyed my 56th birthday party I drank to much and partied hearty (oh yea, it was just tea). I did play on the trampoline with Bailey and Lindsey, Pappy has still got it.

I do not know how many of you know but way back when I was in the Navy. I got out about 6 months before Brammy and I married. So, it has been 33 years since I have seen any of my buddies and nearly that long since I have heard from any of them. For a couple of years a guy named Rhett Strawser would send me a xmas card and like a dummy I did not return the gesture, so he stopped. Well, I got the wild hair and decided to start looking for these guys. I have found 3 of them. Rhett Strawser, Jean Cabana ( dude not a chick, even though his name is spelled that way) and Jack Gale. Amazingly Myself, Rhett and Jean are still married to our first and only wives. I do not know about Jack. As I find more of these guys I will keep you informed.

Now I am compelled to let all of you know about my younger siblings:

Today is March 4 for you that do not realize it. My KK is 23. As you know the crud has made its way around the family. The best way to over it is to bare the cheek, it only hurts for alittle while. Friday night was Deputy Dogs' graduation party. It was a good evening, good food and music. Did all of you know She She ( Sheila) is afraid of flying? I think she needs to come to grips with being all grown up(50 WHAT Sheila) and go out west with her husband. I think (well maybe you do not need to know that).
Sunday March 15 after morning SERVICES the band is gona play at the Azalea Festival. Y'all come on out.
I will leave you with a thought. I said it was a thought.

in trouble aqgain

Well, Howdy folks!
Nikki let me know I needed to updateeeeeee! As everyone is aware the change is here! Has anyone received their check? I just knew mine would be here last Wednesday. I hope everyone is doing o.k.. I am going to be brief, but as you all know I have sired 3 Homecoming Queens. That makes my comments gospel.

Tomorrow is Brammy's birthday and Sarah's senior night was tonight. I am not looking forward to Sarah's Graduation.

People who complain usually do not help solve a problem. They make it a bigger problem. Be a part of the solution, do something constructive. Support the school, it probably was good to you and for you.

Sunday

Today Brammy and I are keeping our Bailey and Lindsey. I will try to add a picture of what they have spent the afternoon doing.

This past week was my annual trip to Reelfoot lake to duck hunt. The trip was good, but the hunt was terrible. Monday was cloudy with rain and frozen rain. Tuesday was cloudy with sleet and frozen rain and little wind. Wednesday was just bad cloudy with no wind. These conditions make poor duck hunting. If anyone wants more details call me.

We went to Austins for Nikki's 29th birthday. It is always a blessed day when I can look across the table and see my 3 beautiful girls.

11 Dec 08

Well, another day is past and there is still work to do. We pulled the wire to the sign at the school. I think it is going to be nice. I read in the paper this morning that the House of Representatives voted to give the big 3 automakers their bailout. I hope the Senate kills the bill. I just do not believe this is they way out of this mess. The automaker need to restructure, get the salaries in line ( hourly and salary) and reduced the price of their autos.

I checked with Lindsey and big sister Bailey and the do want to go to Waffle House.

Tuesday

Well, I need to thank Nikki for giving me a hand this morning with the blog and making her 2 teeth less Dad some oatmeal. Do not forget to vote Republican today. Oh yea, someone needs to run for Congress as a true conservative. No Jurist Doctors Please. They need to be conservative Attorneys or conservative Judges.
